Do over.

I have a new obession these days. A new show on TLC. If I could go back in time and change ONE thing about my wedding it'd be this:

I love the TLC show Rock The Reception. And if I had a do over in my wedding, I'd have a first dance like this. How awesome would that be, instead of boring old twirl around the floor to a cheesy song that only has meaning for 2 people, when you can ENTERTAIN people!
I want my do over. For the record "our" song was Elvis 'Wonder of You' Hubby Loves Elvis, I didn't want Can't Help Falling in Love...
If you don't know the song listen here. It's a good song...it just doesn't ROCK!

  1. I like watching that show myself. So fun and creative. Wish I would have done that, but I would've had to start about 2 years prior to meeting my husband. To say that I can't dance is the most understated statement of the century.

  2. I've never seen that show, but I know I wouldn't have the guts to "rock the reception". I like your Elvis song too!

  4. Ha ha!! I don't even know you very well, but I can SO see you doing that dance. :)

We are technologically behind in that we only get basic tv channels. :) At least we are finally HD and digital.... :) All that to say, I love shows on TLC, but only get glimpses when I am at some one elses house. :)

  7. **Haha, I forgot to put that in there! I bought new napkins and placemats last night to celebrate, and I THOUGHT they came two to a pack, but I (shockingly, lol) was wrong! I got to get some more tonight.

Hubby and I wrote a fantasy fiction (because, yes, we're dorks like that, haha) book together in the summer and fall, and now we're just trying to find an agent who can help us find a publisher to publish it. =D
