The Cat Got Wet.

My daily life is well, so daily. Get up, drink coffee, get Butter off to school, hopefully get a shower...I'm never alone. I have a dog that follows me. She barks when we go to bring Roo to preschool. We walk the block and a half to the school, we can hear her barking the whole time we are walking. She hates being alone. I get it, really I do. I miss things too, like my privacy. Me space. A closet of my OWN.
Everyday it's the same. I announce that I'm going to take a shower, do you need anything before I go? Are you happy with the show you are watching? Stay out of trouble. Please, just watch your cartoon. With Piper at my side I head down stairs. She beats me, she must always beat me down the stairs. As I prepare to get in the shower, beady eyes are staring back at me.
The cat.
The darn cat, sneaky cat, cat that wants to scare me silly. Tabitha is waiting in the shower to pounce at me. She is not evil mind you, she just likes to play. By scaring me to death. I'm unto her though, I know she's there. Here watch.

They were both waiting outside the door when I came out. I now have to remember to tape the dog after her bath, she is psycho. Good times.

Now I have some good news to share. My brother in-law and his wife are expecting their first baby. They are due in early July. I am THRILLED. I've been praying for this for 6 months now. But mostly because they will now be apart of the "club". The sleepless nights, up to your ears in dirty diapers, never have a clean house again "club". People that don't have children live in a fairytale land. Worst yet, they don't KNOW they live in a fairytale land. I get a front row seat to a show of a lifetime. Two youngens, all growed up, having a baby...livin' the dream until the baby comes home and declares I'm the new sheriff in town and THIS is how it's gonna go. If you all could shoot up a prayer for Stacey and the Babe, I'd be so appreciative. It is early and her sister had much trouble, she also has some issues that may play a role here. Thanks prayer warriors!

Cats can be so stupid sometimes (I'm a dog person, in case you couldn't tell).

  4. that is one of the funniest things i've seen in awhile. what is up with your CAT?!!! very strange. hmm, maybe it likes water and knows that cats aren't suppose to, so it stays in there hoping you'll turn it on?

    congrats to your family! ;o)

  5. Funny. That cat would freak me out if I pulled back that curtain and she was there.
