So far nothing is broken other than my spirit. Maybe that's where He needs me to be.

  1. First, I have to comment that you are so stinkin' creative with your blog! Even though the subject matter of this post is expressing your dismay with your parenting (which - Honey, don't be so hard on yourself! We've all been there and are of course our worst critics!! Ease up on yourself a bit and hand it over to the Lord ...), I have to say that I just loved this audio clip! As I said before ... too stinkin' creative, cute & wity ... all that I've come to expect from our Butterville Gal!!

BTW, I received your voicemail message ... thank you so much for taking the time to give me a ring! I'm just so sorry to have missed you... Very thankful am I that your family tree was received in one piece ... your kind words truly lifted my spirits on a day that was so needed! Thanks for being the sunshine in my day!

  2. I was right there with you last night. By mid-afternoon yesterday I was ready to sell Owen to the highest bidder. I ended up screaming at him and having to apologize. He came up to me later and asked me if I were ready to be
    "happy at him" again. Sigh.

  3. Praying for you Sara! Parenting is such a rough road sometimes. You'll make it girl!
I agree that this was such a creative idea, even though I am sorry for what you are going through. :)

  4. I totally and completely lost my mind on Miles yesterday. I scared both of us. Wasn't pretty.

It's amazing how we can be so hard on ourselves and so forgiving of other moms.

I want to say you're doing just fine, but I know you might not believe me :) Because I wouldn't believe me.

What do we do to start being easier on ourselves?
I think you're right, sometimes He does want us right here in the trenches, learning to rely more on Him.

  6. Keep your chin up Sara, you are among friends. We've ALL been there. And to those who haven't, who have "more repentant children and haven't experienced these type of issues" Um, yeah right. (*cough*lies*cough*) Also, beware because the Lord has a Highly Functioning sense of Humor. Just sayin.

Oooh, and Miss Gwendolyn, I almost sold Max on ebay to the LOWEST bidder this week.

See what I mean? We've all been there.

    Love & (((HUGS))), Whitney
