I have gotten two tags in the last few days...
Firstly, I was tagged by Joanne over at Blessed to do 15 things I'm not afraid to admit. I think I admitted something pretty huge yesterday so I'll only do one.
I'm not ashamed to admit I watch WAY too much TV. I love TV. Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, Greys, The Office, reruns, soaps, football, hockey, movies...I am a total couch potato.
Now Rachel, my sweet pea from NOLA tagged me to tell three things I like about myself and tag 3 people to do the same.
- I am honest. I absolutely HATE lying. Can't stand it. I once went back into a store because they gave me EXTRA change back!? and I was flat broke! The Spirit is strong in me for this.
- I am Sensitive. I feel feel feel everything out loud. Like Rachel said. Heart on the sleeve...can't be helped, I'd have it no other way. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God to his delight. So go ahead make me cry, I rejoice in my tears. Just don't make me laugh too hard cause I can pee my pants. It's embarrassingly happened once.
- I like the way I look. I can go outside in sweats and no make-up and be ok. I can get all gussied up and be ok. I can lay naked on my bed have the lights on, with hubby in the room and be ok. I can stand in front of hundreds of people and speak, and be ok.
I like who I am. I like who God is turning me into. I like that I am sassy, bold, honest, authentic, caring, concerned, messy, lazy, loud, silly, strong-willed, grateful, funny, crafty, and inventive. I like me.
Now comes to fun part. Rach, also had this test you can take to see what Christmas tree you are. No surprise I'm a bright one! HA! :) I will worn you though I got very addicted to taking all kinds of tests after this one!
You Are a Bright Christmas Tree |
For you, the holidays are all about fun and seasonal favorites. You are into all things Christmas, even if they're a little tacky. |
My reindeer name is Prancer, I am a chocolate chip muffin, strawberry ice cream, my wrestler name is Killer Switchblade and my rockstar name is Kiki Spice! Man, I had fun. I'm going back to do some more because laundry can wait and the vacuum asked for the day off.
I also just wanted to say that when I came back from my conference and caught up on my comments, posted about the conference and read those comments...you all mean SO much to me and I truly have come to enjoy our friendships. You are a source of comfort to me. You keep me real and accountable. You give me joy. Thank you dear friends.
I love what I just learned about you. Especially how secure you are in being you. I wish you were my neighbor so you could teach me that. Have you always been so secure or have you settled into yourself as you've grown? (B/c I'm 29 and I'm hoping that my 30s will be magical. You know, magical in that God will work His magic more strongly than ever before
ReplyDeletein my life as I go through my 30s.)
Also, you mentioned that you've been very good and you might be interested in a trade... I gotta say a trade sounds delicious. Let's work out the details. Email me. :)
OK, Missy Miss, if you say you like the way you look in anything, then can't wait to see you in that dress!
ReplyDeleteI am totally ok with myself flaws and all also. I didn't used to be but now that I am it is so much better!!
ReplyDeletealright kiki spice....i had a hard time getting past the naked woman part. and you my friend ARE a bright and beautiful christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteHey Sara! Yes, mine is without the "h" because my mom thought my name was already too long...Sara Lynn Willingham. She insisted that I was going to be called Sara Lynn until the day I died, that lasted through Jr. High! :) My mom is also a neat freak and I am sure that is the reason I am not!!!! I am like you, I like who I am and who God is molding me into!!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to get to know you better--you confident little thing, you! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe new template is SOOO cute! Darling!
Thanks for the good wishes and soul food sharing!~
Blessings!
Well, guess what, Miss Sara ... I like you, too! I love that reading your post of you liking you really lifted my spirits - You Go, Girl! We are all so wonderfully blessed to know you!
ReplyDeleteI see that I was tagged by you - I'm working on fulfilling another one, so I'm tagging you right back, Chickie! Stop by to play!
You cracked me up. A couch potatoe, huh? You would HATE it at our house right now. We are in the middle of moving my husband's office into our front room and had to disconnect our TV. We are without one right now, have been for almost a month now.
ReplyDeleteWe will watch our favorite shows from time to time on www.hulu.com, but that's about it.
You will have to fill me in on anything I have been missing!
You just made me laugh out loud with all of your quiz-taking. Hilarious! Once I get started on those things, I can't stop, either.
ReplyDeleteI am so much like you with the honesty thing. I have driven home from the store, realized they didn't charge me for something, and driven all the way back just so my conscience would stop bugging me. :)
I am so glad you chose to do this! And you are too funny with all your test taking answers!
