Election Day

I elect Butter to be Bossy Mayor of Butterville...she will create a peanut butter free zone and ban rice at dinner time. She will enforce movie night, increase the popcorn supply and share all pop with her "peeps'
I elect Roo as our Defense Secretary. He can calm tense situations with a smile, he's not afraid to use his voice and he's got a secret weapon. It's called "rub noses".
I elect Hubby as Chief Financial officer. He is crazy good with numbers. He can look in a cart full of stuff and be within $1.00 of the total. He is a good saver and spends wisely. He also gives to charity.
I elect God to be in control of everything. Through the calm and through the storm He never lets us go.
This election, and outcome is all in his perfect plan and perfect timing.
Vote your heart. And then offer it up to Him who never lets go.
VOTE! I did.

  1. This is such a cute post. You are adorable!

  2. You're so funny!

I'm waiting to vote tonight. Right now the wait time is about 2 hours. Ick.

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog yesterday. It really helped me a lot. I heart you!

  3. I almost wasn't going to read this because I thought, "Jeez haven't those Americans gotten sick of all this Voting stuff yet? Just do it already!" Then I thought, I love Sarah from Butterville, so I popped on over, and boy, I'm glad I did! You are fantastically clever!

  4. What a great post! So cute and such a good reminder that God is always in control, no matter what.

I love hearing from you!
