Well, it's "our" Christmas classic.

Someone gave us a book called 'Silly Dilly Christmas songs. Where did they hide my presents?' by Alan Katz and David Catrow
Every night the kids ask for this version of Winter Wonderland

Something in My Brother's Underpants

Door rings
Gee, who is it?
Party guests
Christmas visit
The mood is so swell
But what is that smell?
Something in my brother's underpants!

Now I don't
Like complaining
But my dad's
Entertaining
The guests and my mom
Don't smell the stink bomb
Something in my brother's underpants!

From the basement we can hear the laughter
Parents sharing cheer while eggnog flows
Christmas songs are ringing from the rafter
How can I sing along
And hold my nose?

Upstairs it's super -duper
This kid's a party pooper
Mom, please don't deck the halls
Come change his overalls
There's something in my brother's underpants!

It seems funnier the farther away from diapers that we get!

If my printer was working I'd scan the book in...the darn thing is on a break, apparently.

  2. Clasic indeed. :)

If you haven't already done it - I have an award and FUN (partially facetious here) meme for you to do. Check it out on my blog. :)

  3. TOO FUNNY

I remember a radio station in Vancouver BC did a version of that song called "Walking 'Round in Womens Underwear'

    All I remember is this:
"In the office there's a guy named Melvin. Who pretends that he is Murphy Brown..."

    And

    "Later on, if you wanna.
    We can dress like Madonna.
Put on some eyeshade and join the parade... Walking 'Round in Women's Underwear."

I was like 14 or something.
    Yeah.
    Weird what you remember sometimes...
